They have got to be the coolest, the swankiest, the most coveted pair of specs out there! I’m talkin’ Chilli Beans. They’re like a party for your face!

This company wreaks stylish Brazilian pungency as they pride themselves on being “provocative, spicy [and] involving. [Chilli Beans] is the spice brand,” they claim.

In addition to awesome designs and innovative aesthetics, Chilli Beans also plays a hand in functionality by launch[ing] around 10 new models of sunglasses every week, with a mix that reaches children and adults,” they said. “The lines are divided into Kids, Classic, Metal, Sports, Trends, Brazil and Specials, a handmade premium line, produced with noble acetate and a differentiated colour chart. All lenses have UV protection and are tested and approved by IBC/Inmetro.”

The brand is a lifestyle decision. They “support a whole world of activities, sponsoring parties, shows, sports and social actions,” chillibeans.com.br proudly states. Everything from cow parades to balloon flights to sponsoring sports like downhill, kite surfing and track and field, to name a few, there’s nothing that this company can’t do. They even rub elbows with big names like Paul McCartney, DJ Tiësto and Fatboy Slim.

Opening its screen to the public in 1997 via a sunglass stand in São Paulo’s Mundo Mix Market , Chilli Beans has grown to “over 340 exclusive selling points in Brazil, the United States, Portugal and Angola,” according to the site.

“Between 2000 and 2001, Chilli Beans opened its first kiosk in the Villa Lobos Mall, in São Paulo, and started its franchising operations,” the company explained. A few years later “the chain began its co-branding process, establishing partnerships with Gloria Coelho, Carlota Joakina, Thais Gusmão, Salinas and Melissa.”

Wait, it gets better: “In 2010, the brand innovated once again, introducing in the market the first vending machine for sunglasses in the world. The divulgation is intensified with the ‘Chilli Truck,’ a travelling store which takes the brand to events in cities in the whole country.”

How cool is that?!
