Done right, lace is classy and sexy all in one swoop. Dolce & Gabbana Lace Sunglasses Collection has done it right.  With a subtlety of design, these sunglasses have the correct balance of femininity and strength.  These sunglasses are flirtatious and beautiful while offering a lovely color and design pallet.  Alluring…yes.

The lace design on the frames was inspired by the ornate lace fabric from Sicilia.  It’s no wonder that the fashion house pulls from Sicilia, as that is part of their cultural heritage.  We can certainly see and feel their love in these wonderful designs.

The black laces of Sicilian women represent the elegance, sensuality, and the aura of freedom that rooted to this stylish and modern eyewear collection as fantastic fashion accessories within the Italian aesthetic.

The collection comes with transparent lace printed frames resembling such delicate vibe that mixed perfectly with retro look in variety of fashionable designs and colors, such as the sophisticated black version, the elegant white pieces, and the contemporary version of the scarlet or green, whereas these lacy sunglasses are also released in cat’s eye styles and the typical designs from the 80s. These are my personal favorite. Of all the Dolce & Gabbana Lace Sunglasses Collection options, these frames and stylish black are simply divine.  They would be great with a plain white tee-shirt and jeans or would also work with a tailored gray skirt suit. Flag Sunglasses

There’s no better way to (subtly) tout your national pride than with a pair of sleek specs featuring your country’s flag discreetly on the temples. Well maybe not your flag, but definitely the Italian flag.

Dolce and Gabbana created an upscale version of flag-bearing sunglasses at the turn of the millennium with their 2064 and later the 4057 special edition model. The Italian flag sits on the arms of the first design (left), and rests atop the bridge of the nose in the second model (right).

The Venetian and Sicilian designers created both of the sporty specs after the wide world of sports. “It’s all a game, with new rules every season,” said one of the designers from the 26-year-old company, Stefano Gabbana. “We are happy and we want everyone to join in the fun.”

For a more casual look, the earlier model comes in bold white or black frames with gradient or standard lenses, whereas the 4057 special edition collection contains a slimmer temple for a more formal day in the sun.

Both of these styles will sit well on any male or female nose, and blends together the perfect mix of sporty casual with Dolce and Gabbana signature chic.
